There has been a slight increase in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Effective midnight  tonight, Tuesday, February 24, the retail price of the 100 lb cylinder, the 25 lb and the 20 lb cylinder of LPG will be increased by $4.05, $1.01 and 81 cents, respectively. A 100 lb cylinder will now cost $126.67, the 25 lb $34.25 and the 20 lb cylinder $27.40.

Last January 15, the price of LPG was adjusted downward due to a reduction in the price of crude oil on the international market.

Cabinet, at a meeting on June 5, 2008, had instituted a mechanism to adjust petroleum prices on a monthly basis in keeping with international trends as it related to the pricing of petroleum products.
