There has been a slight dip in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Effective midnight, tonight, Friday May 14, the retail price of LPG will decrease in keeping with the imported price of petroleum products. As a consequence, the 100-pound cylinder will now be retailed at $146.74 – a decrease of 46 cents.?? The 25-pound cylinder will now cost $39.27, down by 12 cents, while the 20-pound cylinder will now be retailed at $31.42 – a saving of nine cents.

Government has a mechanism in place to adjust petroleum prices monthly by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Empowerment, Trade, Industry and Commerce, on the advice of the Division of Energy.

This mechanism is now in use and price changes will be more frequent (i.e up or down) in accordance with the landed price of petroleum products.
