Effective midnight Sunday, August 24, the retail price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will be increased.

The Division of Energy announced today that the price of the 100-pound cylinder will move from $173.30 to $178.05, an increase of $4.75.

The 25-pound cylinder will now retail at $49.60, up from $48.45, an increase of $1.15, while the 22-pound cylinder will cost $43.85, an increase of $1.05.

The new retail price of the 20-pound cylinder will be $39.85. It formerly retailed at $38.90, an increase of 95 cents.

This adjustment in retail prices is due solely to changes in the CIF of this refined product.
