The schools’ lunch time concerts, which were held throughout Education Month, will continue next month.

Concerts will be held on November 1, and 8, at Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, Holetown, St. Janes, and Speightstown Esplanade, St. Peter, respectively.

An initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, the concerts will showcase a variety of talent from schools across the island.

On Wednesday, November 1, several schools will perform, namely Hillaby Turner’s Hall Primary, Wesley Hall Infants, Gordon Greenidge Primary, St. Leonard’s Boys’ Choir, St. Winifred’s, Alleyne School, Combermere, Alexandra, Queen’s College, Coleridge and Parry, Harrison College and Frederick Smith Secondary.

The following week, Wednesday, November 8, will see performances from Combermere, Alleyne School, A. Dacosta Edwards Primary, Frederick Smith Secondary Steel Orchestra, Christ Church Foundation School, Graydon Sealy Secondary, Alexandra, Half Moon Fort Primary, Selah Primary, Grazettes and Daryll Jordan Secondary’s steel orchestra, drama and dance groups.

All concerts begin at 12:30 p.m. and members of the public are invited to attend and lend support to the students as they perform.
