Lunchtime concerts, which are a usual feature of Education Month, will be held again this year, giving students across the island an opportunity to showcase their talents.

The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training will host the series of lunchtime concerts every Wednesday in October on the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st.  They will be held under the theme Building Excellence in Education through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).

All shows are expected to begin at noon, and members of the public are invited to attend and support the students as they sing, drum and perform.

The first event will be held on Wednesday, October 3, at Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael.  The students performing will be from the Grantley Prescod Primary, Belmont Primary and Luther Thorne Primary Schools, as well as Parkinson Memorial and Springer Memorial Secondary Schools.
