Small and micro business owners are being encouraged to sharpen their skills and increase their understanding of marketing, accounting, and computer technology.

The Small Business Association, in collaboration with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Council and the Productivity Council, is offering a series of training and development courses in these areas.

Those entrepreneurs who wish to expand their enterprises should sign up for the Marketing and Funding for Small and Micro Businesses course.?? Classes will run for five weeks and will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, beginning November 5.

The programme will cover topics such as Customer Services strategies??as well as Marketing and Funding strategies for business growth.

The basic accounting course is for six weeks and will be held on mondays; while computer courses of the sam duration include Quickbooks for Small Businesses, Introduction to Microsoft and Quickbooks Intermediate.??

Registration closes on Friday, November 2, and a nominal registration fee is required.
