A pilot project in Mathematics, which was started in 2013 by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, will soon come to a close, following its execution over the last three school terms.

The project was done in collaboration with ConquerMaths Caribbean and was conducted in six primary schools and the same number of secondary schools.

ConquerMaths Caribbean and the Education Ministry will hold a closing ceremony this Thursday, July 17 at the St. Leonard???s Boys??? Secondary School, to further highlight the project???s milestones and celebrate the achievements of the students who participated.

They will be presented with awards for outstanding performances. Teachers are also expected to be rewarded.

Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry, Senator Harry Husbands will deliver the feature address at the ceremony which begins at 9:30 a.m. in the school hall, at Richmond Gap, St. Michael.

It will also be addressed by Deputy Chief Education Officer, Karen Best and Managing Director of ConquerMaths UK, Richard Hunter.
