Residents, operators of businesses, landowners and other interested persons in the districts stretching from St. David???s, Christ Church, to Six Roads, St. Philip, are reminded that there will be a meeting next Wednesday, June 17, to discuss the Draft Community Plan for the area.

The community meeting will be held at the Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Cross Roads, St. Philip, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Ecoisle Consulting Inc. and Open Plan, the consultants appointed by the Town and Country Development Planning Office to develop the Community Plan for St. David???s to Six Roads, will lead the discussions.

Districts within the area of the Plan include Bannatyne, Bentley Tenantry, Yorkshire, Coverley, South Ridge, Lower Greys, Lead Vale, Hannays Tenantry, Kent, Ridge, Woodbourne, Four Roads, Foursquare Valley, Charnocks, Fair View, Frere Pilgrim, Rock Hall, and Searles Tenantry.

Government commissioned the comprehensive land use Community Plan last year to guide development in the St. David???s to Six Roads area. This has become necessary because the Town and Country Development Planning Office has received several applications to subdivide or change the use of agricultural land there for residential and commercial purposes.
