Members of the public will receive updates on the progress and agenda of their respective Constituency Councils during a series of meetings starting this month.

The first of these meetings, hosted by the Department of Constituency Empowerment of the Ministry of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development, will take place on Sunday, January 19, at the Grantley Adams Memorial School, Lammings, St. Joseph with the St. Joseph Constituency Council beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The St. Lucy Constituency Council will have its meeting at the North Stars Cultural and Sports Club, Crab Hill, St. Lucy, on Sunday, January 26, also at 4:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the St. Michael South Central Constituency Council will give its updates at the St. Michael School, Martindales Road, St. Michael, on Wednesday, January 29, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The Christ Church South Constituency Council will host the final meeting for January at the Cuthbert Pilgrim Centre, Bethlehem Moravian Church, Moravian Gardens, Christ Church, on Thursday, January 30, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The meetings are being held to update residents of the Constituencies about the progress and agenda for the Councils and garner feedback and ideas from them on proposed programmes and projects.

In addition, they are also expected to be a forum to address residents??? concerns and invite them to partner with the Council in the execution of community projects and programmes. All are invited.
