Parents and Guardians of all children in Infants B, Class 2 and Class 3 are invited to attend a series of town hall meetings to discuss the processes involved in the administration of the Criterion Referenced Test and National Assessment.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation is also encouraging teachers and principals to attend the meetings which will take place during the months of April and May.

The meetings will start on Tuesday, April 24, at The Ellerslie School, Black Rock, St. Michael; Lester Vaughan School, Cane Garden, St. Thomas and the Graydon Sealy Secondary School, Paddock Road, St. Michael.

They will continue the following day, Wednesday, April 25, at Alexandra School, Queen’s Street, Speightstown, St. Peter; The St. Michael School, Martindales Road, St. Michael and Combermere School, Waterford, St. Michael.

On Sunday, April 29, education officials will conduct a meeting at Daryll Jordan Secondary School, Nesfield, St. Lucy. The next set of meetings will take place on Saturday, May 5 at the Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Cross Roads, St. Philip; A. DaCosta Edwards Primary School, Belleplaine, St. Andrew; and Christ Church Foundation School, Church Hill, Christ Church.

The sessions will conclude on Sunday, May 6, at the St. George Primary School, Constant, St. George; St. Joseph Primary School, Horse Hill, St. Joseph and St. John Primary School, Glebe Land, St. John. All meetings begin at 5:00 p.m.

The Ministry of Education urges parents and guardians to attend any one of the meetings which is convenient for them.
