As part of the educational outreach programme of the Randal Phillip’s Polyclinic, there will be a one-day health workshop for men on Thursday, October 23.
Entitled “Empowered Men… Healthier Men!!”, the seminar targets men who usually attend the men’s health sessions at that polyclinic and will give them an opportunity to discuss the physical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of health.
It will be addressed by President of the Men’s Health Group Merlan Yarde, Pastor Selwyn Brathwaite of the Kingdom Life Assembly, Senior Agricultural Officer (Entomology), Brett Taylor, and Senior Psychiatric Social Worker, Geoffrey Small.
There will also be a presentation by Mr. Merlan Yarde (Jr) and a musical interlude by students of the Milton Lynch Primary School (formerly Christ Church Boys’).
The health workshop gets under way from 9:30 a.m. in the polyclinic’s conference room at Oistins in Christ Church.
