Minister with responsibility for youth, Stephen Lashley, has pledged his full support for Barbados??? CARICOM Youth Ambassadors.
And, during a courtesy call at his Sky Mall office, Mr. Lashley told Ambassadors Zuwena Perry and Shamar Ward to ???feel free to draw on the skills and talents within the Ministry???.
The Youth Ambassadors shared their goals and ideas for their two-year appointment.
In response, the Minister suggested that they become very familiar with the Ministry???s various programmes, to see how further communication and collaboration with the Ministry of Youth could take place, and to further the development of the youth in Barbados and the region.
Mr. Lashley also encouraged the Ambassadors to look beyond their two-year appointment period and seek to ???create a movement??? that would live on.
