Tourism Minister, Richard Sealy, has advised class four students of the People???s Cathedral Primary School who will be writing this year???s Barbados Secondary Schools??? Entrance Examination (BSSEE) not to forget the foundation that was laid by their teachers.

He imparted this advice to the eager students and encouraging them to do their best during the 11-Plus Examination, during a pep talk at the school recently, while he acted as Prime Minister.

Mr. Sealy said: ???You are embarking on a new phase and you are going to be leaving behind the primary education phase. You have to leave the People???s Cathedral Primary School and move on to a secondary school and hopefully move on to another institution, and after that the world of work???But you must never let the People???s Cathedral Primary School leave you. You must take the foundation that you have here and you will be in a good position wherever you go to continue your education.???

The Tourism Minister reminded the students that Barbados had an excellent secondary school system and assured them that they would excel regardless of the school they attended.

After the chat, Mr. Sealy fielded a number of questions from the curious bunch ranging from how to handle setbacks in life, bullying, the selection of an acting prime minister and the functions of Parliament. A total of 3,728 students will write this year???s BSSE tomorrow Tuesday, May 6.
