The Ministry of Innovation, Science and Smart Technology (MIST) is seeking to ensure citizens are safe online through the hosting of a series of free half-day workshops entitled: Get Safe Online Barbados.

Spaces are available for Tuesday, August 27, Wednesday, August 28, and Thursday, August 29, in the Ministry’s training room, 4th Floor Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael, beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day.

Topics to be covered at the workshop include:

  • 10 Points – Do and Don’ts on how to keep safe online;
  • Your Data – Data Loss Prevention, Data Breaches/Security Incidents;
  • Your Reputation;
  • Your IT Based Services – Websites/Payment systems;
  • Fraud and Identity Theft.
