When Members of Parliament meet tomorrow, a number of supplementary items will top the agenda to be debated.

Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Chris Sinckler, will move a Resolution to have the House approve the Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries (Remuneration and Allowances) Order, 2014, and the Senate and House of Assembly (Remuneration and Allowances of Members) Order 2014.

The measure is under section 5 of the Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries (Remuneration and Allowances) Act, Cap. 8, and section 8 of the Senate and House of Assembly (Remuneration and Allowances of Members) Act, Cap. 13A.

In addition, Leader of Government Business, John Boyce, will seek to have the House resolve itself into Committee of Supply to determine whether $10 390 540 should be taken from the Consolidated Fund and placed at the disposal of the Government to supplement the Estimates 2013-2014 as shown in the Supplementary Estimates No.11 2013-2014 which form the Schedule to the Resolution.
