Activities remaining on the calendar for March, the Month of the Disabled, have been postponed due to measures implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Walk a Mile in My Shoes and Taste My Hand competition, both scheduled for Saturday, March 28, will be deferred to a later date.
Additionally, the Shine Like a Diamond pageant which was slated for Sunday, March 29, at Sandals Barbados, St. Lawrence Gap, has also been called off, until further notice.
The in-studio live broadcast on the topic Violence Does Not Discriminate: The Impact of Violence on a Vulnerable Community, which was to be shown on UWI TV, Cave Hill Campus, on Tuesday, March 31, has been postponed, along with the other activities.
