Traffic Notices For Pan In De City

Members of the public attending Pan in De City, at the Speightstown Esplanade in St. Peter, on Saturday, July 12, are asked to observe a number of traffic changes which take effect from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. on that day.

During that period, Queen Street, from its junction with Major Walk Road to its junction with Chapel Street, will be closed to all vehicular traffic, while Church Street, from its junction with the Speighstown By-Pass Road to Eddies Supermarket, will be two way.

In addition, no parking will be allowed on Major Walk Road, Queen Street, Church Street, Goddings Alley, Mango Lane or Sand Street.

Police are also advising that there is to be no parking or waiting along the emergency route, which runs from Farm Road, St. Peter and proceeds along the Ronald Mapp Highway (Highway 2A), to Warrens, Lodge Hill, Green Hill, Codrington, Waterford, Station Hill Road, Halls Road, Martindales Road, to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in St. Michael.

All drivers are asked to comply with these changes and the directions of police officers in uniform.

Traffic Changes For Pan Pun De Sand

Members of the public attending Pan Pun De Sand at Brandons Beach, St. Michael, on Sunday, July 13, are asked to observe a number of traffic changes from noon until 10:00 p.m.

During that period, the Spring Garden Highway, from its junction with Brighton Road to its junction with Exmouth Gap Road, St. Michael, will be closed to all vehicular traffic, except those vehicles used by members of the Festival Committee.

In addition, there is to be no parking or waiting along the emergency route, which runs from the Spring Garden Highway, and proceeds along Exmouth Gap, Westbury Road, Passage Road, Country Road, Roebuck Street, Halls Road and Martindales Road, to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in St. Michael.

Drivers, riders and pedestrians using any of these roads, are asked to exercise caution and comply with instructions given by police in uniform.
