In Full Circle is the theme for Mosaic IV, being staged this weekend by Harrison College (HC), in collaboration with its Parent Teachers’ Association.

The two-day event, which comes off at the Frank Collymore Hall on March 18 and 19, at 7:00 p.m. daily.

On Saturday, March 18, patrons will be treated to music from Cover Drive and Quissa, as well as an exciting lineup of Harrisonians, including HC’s junior and senior steel bands, its choir, orchestra, Pop Band and three soloists.

The following evening, Sunday, March 19, performers will include Rosemary Philips, 2 Mile Hill, Smokey Burke and Friends, Adrian Green, Adonijah, Poonka, Black Pawn, Kid Site and PJ of “Bajan Love Song” fame.

A highlight on both nights will be a tribute to the late Adrian “Boo” Husbands, an alumnus of HC, multitalented musician and entertainer, as well as founding member of the Mosaic Committee.

Chairman of the Mosaic Committee, Ayo Burrowes, said the event exposed students of music and cultural arts at Harrison College “to opportunities to interact, work with and learn from artistes, entertainers and musicians who are seasoned in the various professions”.  She further pointed out that it helped to raise funds for the advancement of sports, culture and music at HC.

Tickets for Mosaic IV are available at the school, Crumpton Street, St. Michael; A & B Soundz, Sheraton, and Emerald City, Six Roads; and all Ticket Pal outlets and online.  For further information on the event, members of the public may visit www.facebook.com/mosaicconcerts.
