Most of the technical issues with the internal network system at the Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property Office (CAIPO) have been resolved.

This is according to a release from CAIPO which today stated that all lines of services for the companies’ section, the cashier and emails are now accessible.

However, access to the Intellectual Property Automated System (IPAS) remains unavailable as the technical team continues its work to resolve the issues.

Persons wishing to conduct business with CAIPO may utilise the appointment system, by visiting CAIPO’s website. With respect to annual returns that were due to be filed by June 30, 2022, a new deadline for filing will be announced later.

The digital corporate system for the registration of business names and incorporation of companies remains available and accessible.  Persons can continue to use this platform by visiting CAIPO’s website.

Additionally, persons may continue to utilise EZ+ Pay to pay for filings, and submit proof of payment, along with copies of documents paid for to caipo.general@barbados.gov.bb

CAIPO thanks members of the public for their patience and understanding during this time.
