Members of the public are invited to attend Movies Under the Sky tomorrow, Saturday, March 14, at the Dover Playing Field, Dover, Christ Church, from 7:00 p.m.
The free movie night is being hosted by the Technical Standing Committee on Coastal Hazards, and is designed to increase the level of earthquake awareness among the public.
During the event, officials from the Ministry of Tourism will also join in the awareness efforts, as they highlight the potential impact such an event could have on the island???s tourism product.
Movies Under the Sky is the first such event being held as part of the celebrations for Tsunami and Earthquake Smart Month, which runs from March 1 to 31, under the theme: Come on Barbados: Let???s Team Up and Combat the Impact of Coastal Hazards.
