The Barbados Museum and Historical Society is collaborating with the University of the West Indies??? Department of History and Philosophy and the National Cultural Foundation to present a lecture series on Barbadian Identity.

The second installment in the series, entitled: The Making of Bimshire/Little England: Perceptions of Special Status in the Colonial Hierarchy/Framework, will take place next Tuesday, March 22, at the Queen???s Park Steel Shed, starting at 7:00 p.m. The presenter will be Professor Pedro Welch.

The series is sponsored by the Insurance Corporation of Barbados Ltd., the Central Bank of Barbados and R.L Platinum Wines. The lectures will continue every Tuesday at the Queen???s Park Steel Shed at 7:00 p.m., ending on Tuesday, April 26.
