The Barbados Museum and Historical Society (BMHS) will launch its bi-annual fundraising event, the Scarlet Gala, and other major development projects, tomorrow, Wednesday, January 14, at the Barbados Museum, St. Ann???s Garrison, St. Michael, at 10:00 a.m.
Speakers at the event will include Council President, Sir Trevor Carmichael, and Director of the BMHS, Alissandra Cummins, who will focus on proposed plans for the redesign of core galleries, the Brick by Brick campaign and the Walled Garden Theatre.
The Scarlet Gala is the Museum???s major fundraising activity, which will be held on Saturday, February 28. It was first held in 2013, as part of activities for the Museum???s 80th anniversary.
