Residents of St. Lucy will soon have an opportunity to learn about the services of the National Insurance Scheme (NIS).

This comes as the Constituency Council stages a series of lectures entitled National Insurance and You, at different venues across the constituency.

The lectures will commence on Saturday, June 15, at Half Moon Fort Primary School, and will continue on Saturday, June 22, at Hope Road Church of the Nazarene. On Saturday, July 13, the Kairos Wesleyan Church at Pie Corner will be the venue of the third lecture, while on Saturday, July 27, the lecture series will culminate at the Crab Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church.

All lectures will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will be conducted by Stephen Strickland of the National Insurance Department.

For further information on the St. Lucy Constituency Council’s NIS lecture series, persons may contact the office at Benthams, at 439-8200/310-1637.
