Independence Square, Bridgetown, will be transformed into a readers’ paradise this coming Saturday, September 4, when the National Library Service hosts its annual literacy fair in observance of International Literacy Day.

Under the theme: Literacy: The Power of a Nation, the event which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., will afford patrons the opportunity to browse through a selection of books and other educational products displayed by the various stakeholders.

To facilitate the event, the National Library Service’s main branch on Fairchild Street, will be closed to the public and apologies are extended for any inconvenience caused.
