Equal access to education, training and science and technology will be the focus when The National Task Force on Crime Prevention hosts its annual Girls’ Talk Workshop to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Twenty girls, ages 13 to 16, from various secondary schools across the island, will have the opportunity to participate in this workshop when it is staged on Tuesday, March 8, at the Savannah Hotel, Hastings, Christ Church from 9:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Presenters will speak on a range of topics including Peer Pressure, Good Money Sense, Etiquette and Social Graces, Your Body and You, Sexual Health, Self Esteem and Charting a Career Path.?? ??????

The Girls’ Talk Workshop was implemented in 2007, as the Task Force’s initiative to observe International Women’s Day.??
