Primary school pupils on a tour of the Widlife Reserve (FP)??

The importance of the National Conservation Commission (NCC) to environmental preservation will be highlighted when it presents a display on Wednesday, June 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Jubilee Gardens, the City.

The display, which is part of the series of activities in celebration of Environment Month, will allow visitors to learn more about the NCC’s operations as an entity which focuses on the development, conservation and enhancement of both the natural and man-made environment.

The NCC, one of the primary agencies concerned with the management of public parks, open areas and beaches, will also host its Arbor Day Expo in September, which encourages the planting of trees and preservation of the environment.??

More information on these events, may be obtained by contacting the NCC at 425-1200 or log on to their website, http://www.nccbarbados.gov.bb/.
