The National Conservation Commission (NCC) is not responsible for a fallen tree situated at Rockley, Christ Church, that was highlighted in the Thursday, October 17 edition of the Daily Nation.

The article stated that the NCC ???looks after the area??? where the tree fell, but management of the Codrington, St. Michael institution has made it clear that the tree is located on private land and not Crown land. As a result, the NCC is not responsible for its upkeep or for the removal of the fallen tree.

In addition, management at the NCC has also advised the public that maintenance work was carried out, and is completed at the Errol Barrow Park which was also highlighted in the press.
