The National Council for Science and Technology will host a free Creative Thinkers Camp, from Monday, August 10.

The 10-day remote online training camp for teens aged 13 to 19 will be held daily from 9:00 a.m. until noon, and will utilise a combination of innovative exercises to engage participants.

This approach will place creative thinking skills and borderless collaboration at the centre of the learning experience, where topics such as creative thinking, design, engineering, art and science will be taught.  Students will also learn how to solve complex challenges in unconventional ways.

The camp will be held via Zoom, but those who wish to meet in a regular space will be able to do so at St. Stephen’s Primary School.

All of the COVID-19 protocols, as stated by the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training will be applied, so only a small number of persons will be allowed at the school.

To register, persons may visit the website of the National Council for Science and Technology, click on the documents tab and complete the Creative Thinkers Innovation Camp Registration form. For further information, persons may call 535-0778 or 832-1179.
