The Ministry of Creative Economy, Culture and Sports and the National Cultural Foundation will host a networking and information session for creative artistes and cultural practitioners this Friday, July 10, at the Wildey Gymnasium, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Minister of Creative Economy, Culture and Sports, John King, noted that “this event is especially important in view of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the cultural industries”.

The meeting is intended to apprise artistes of the services offered by the Ministry, and explain the processes for the submission of applications for funding of projects, programmes and other initiatives.

Artistes and cultural practitioners will also have the opportunity to ask questions and get clarification from Ministry officials about incentives that are offered in order to create and develop initiatives that will be mutually beneficial to both themselves and the creative economy.

Persons in attendance will also be able to network with and exchange information with Ministry officials.
