A new appointment system will be introduced for all patients attending the ophthalmology out-patient clinics at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, effective Thursday, May 2.
Patients will be asked to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment, so that the nurse can perform all necessary checks, and facilitate the patient being seen by the doctor in a timely manner.
To ensure the successful implementation of the new system, and to avoid unnecessary congestion in the clinics, patients are asked to note that they will not be seen earlier than their appointment time.
