The Productivity Council is looking for Barbadians with the ???wow factor???, that is, those individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities.

These otherwise ordinary citizens, who, by their actions, are helping to positively shape this country, will be recognised and rewarded during The Council???s new initiative ??? Community Champions.

Executive Director of The Productivity Council, John Pilgrim, expressed the view that many Barbadians would fit the profile, saying their service to the community and their lifestyle would add value to the lives of others around them.

???This is an exemplification of productivity at the highest level and must be used as a motivational tool to inspire others to contribute more,??? Mr. Pilgrim said.

Barbadians now have an opportunity to nominate their Community Champions, and outline what makes them outstanding. Nominations should be sent on or before Friday, July 4, to Community Champions, c/o The Productivity Council, Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael, or to bnpcouncil@caribsurf.com, subject line: ???Community Champions???. Additional information may be obtained by calling 626-9416.

The nominees who are adjudged most exceptional will be featured in the media.
