The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment has set Saturday, February 4, 2023 as the new date for the reintroduction of the Barbados National Youth Awards. It will be held under the theme: Acknowledging Excellence: Inspiring Youth.

Barbadians are invited to nominate individuals, organisations and youth entities to receive the National Youth Award.  Nominations should be sent to YDP@barbados.gov.bb.

The categories for the 2023 National Youth Awards are: The Phoenix Award, the Conrad Hunte Award, the Ficus Award, the Challenge Award, the Hope Award, The Colin Hudson Award, The Bambusa Award, The Banyan Award, The Baobab Award, The Calabash Award, The Canewood Award, The Sandbox Award and The Silk Cotton Award.
