The National Consultation on Praedial Larceny, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday June 5, has been postponed until next Friday, June 14, at the Savannah Hotel, Hastings, Christ Church, at 10:00 a.m.
The registration deadline has also been extended until Wednesday, June 12. To register, download a registration form from www.facebook.com/GELinBIM/, or call Damian Coppin at 535-5138, or Julia Bishop at 535-5135. Persons can also submit comments via email to comments@agriculture.gov.bb.
The consultation, which is open to members of the public, will examine the Protection of Agricultural Products and Livestock Act, 2017 and Protection of Agricultural Products and Livestock Regulations, 2017, which make provision for the prevention and control of praedial larceny and regulation of farmers and vendors.
