Effective midnight, Sunday, April 5, the prices of gasoline and diesel will rise by 17 cents per litre and 18 cents per litre respectively, while the price of kerosene will decrease by one cent per litre.

According to a statement from the Division of Energy, the retail price of gasoline will move from $2.85 per litre to $3.02 per litre, while the price of diesel will be adjusted from $2.12 per litre to $2.30 per litre.

The new price of kerosene is $1.21 per litre, down from $1.22 per litre.??

The retail prices of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders will also be reduced by amounts ranging from $1.97 on the 100 lb. cylinder to 39 cents on the 20 lb. cylinder from midnight Sunday, April 5.

The new retail price of the 100 lb. cylinder will be $155.75, down from $157.72, the 25 lb. cylinder will now retail at $44.04, a decrease of 49 cents, while the price of the 22 lb. cylinder has moved from $39.35 to $38.92.

The 20 lb. cylinder will now retail for $35.38, reduced from $35.77.??These adjustments in retail prices are due solely to changes in the CIF of these refined products.
