When the new school term opens in September, tiny tots from St. David’s in Christ Church and the surrounding areas will have a brand new nursery school to attend.

According to Project Manager of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development’s Project Implementation Unit, Richard Harrison, the former St. David’s Primary School is currently being converted into a nursery school for children in the neighbouring villages.

He added that the school will be named the Thelma Berry Nursery School in honour of a former janitor, who was very dedicated to St. David’s Primary.

Former students from St. David’s will begin the Michaelmas term at the recently-built Blackman Gollop Primary School in Edgerton, Christ Church.?? This new school is an amalgamation with the South District Primary School.??
