A new photographic exhibition featuring the work of some 20 Barbadian youths is now on display at the Barbados Museum and Historical Society (BMHS), St. Ann’s Garrison, St. Michael.

Entitled "Waterworks: A Visual Expedition of Barbados", it will run until Wednesday, July 14. ??The open days are Mondays to Saturdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The exhibition features a selection of the best photographs taken by participants in the National Geographic Photo Camp, which ran from March 27 to 31 this year. A documentary on the photo camp experience is also included in the exhibition.

The students from nine public schools photographed, edited and designed a portrait of water conservation efforts with the assistance of National Geographic photographers Sam Abell and Matt Moyer. The photographs focus on water scarcity, conservation, and the beauty of water.

The camp was held at Cadet Camp, Paragon, Christ Church, in partnership with the United States Embassy and the BMHS.

Admission to the museum is free for locals and all CARICOM nationals.

Further information on the exhibition may be obtained by contacting the BMHS at 427- 0201 or by email museum@caribsurf.com.
