Members of the public are asked to note that a new telephone system is presently being installed at the Welfare Department’s headquarters at Fairchild Street and its St. Michael office and Family Services Section at Weymouth.
The new telephone numbers are as follows: Fairchild Street – 417-7900; the St. Michael office and Family Services Section, Weymouth Complex, Corner of Roebuck Street and Country Road, St. Michael – 417 -7925; the hotline for cheque dates and other information – 417-7901; The Poverty Reduction Empowerment Programme – 417-7918; the Christ Church branch which is temporarily located at Fairchild Street – 417-7919/417-7920 and the St. Philip office, also temporarily located at headquarters – 417-7909.
Persons are reminded that the fax numbers remain the same: Fairchild Street – 228-7647; and the Family Services Section/St. Michael office at Weymouth – 426-9286.
