The Barbados Licensing Authority (BLA) has instituted a $50 fee for all vehicle investigations with immediate effect.
Motorists may collect the application forms from any of the three BLA branches located at The Pine, St Michael; Oistins, Christ Church; and Holetown, St James. They may also be obtained from the First Floor of the Treasury Building, Bridgetown.
In addition, those drivers who had written letters to the Licensing Authority requesting a vehicle investigation after August 1, would also have to fill out the application form and pay the fee.
No vehicle investigations will be carried out unless the fee is paid in and the application forms completed.
