Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and International Business, Donville Inniss, received High Commissioner of Nigeria to Barbados, Musa John Jen in a courtesy call today.
Accompanied by Deputy High Commissioner Chigozie F Obi-Nnadozie, the High Commissioner made suggestions on how to improve the existing relationship between Lagos and Bridgetown. They include the strengthening of cultural ties; enhancing the existing business relationship; exploring alternative sources of energy and increasing the country’s sugar production.
In turn, Minister Inniss said Barbados already had an excellent relationship with Nigeria and pledged to explore other avenues to deepen the alliance.
