There will be no fogging on Thursday, January 21 – Errol Barrow Day.

Fogging starts Monday, January 18, in St. James at Holetown, Trents, Seaview, Sunset Crest, Molyneaux and its environs.

On Tuesday, January 19, the team from the Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will move operations to Christ Church. Fogging will occur at Rendezvous Gardens, Amity Lodge, Fairway Gardens, Worthings Road, St. Lawrence Main Road, Bamboo Road, Craigg Road, Beckles Road, Brewster Road, Graeme Hall, Graeme Hall Terrace, Top Rock and surroundings.

The following day, Wednesday, January 20, areas that abut and bound St. Andrew and St. Thomas will be fogged including White Hill, Baxters, St. Saviours, Hillaby, Canefield, Airy Cot, Triopath, Cane Garden and environs.

A return to fogging on Friday, January 22 will see the end of fogging for the week, in districts bordering St. George and St. Michael. These are South District, Watts Village, Dash Valley, Monroe Road, Salters Tenantry Road, Plum Tree Road, Roberts Road and their districts.

All fogging runs from 4:30 until 8:30 p.m. and householders are asked to assist by opening windows and doors to allow the fog to penetrate.

Persons with respiratory problems should protect themselves from inhaling the fog.?? Pedestrians and motorists are advised to proceed with caution when encountering fogging operations on the street.

Parents are instructed to prohibit children from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging machine.
