Nomination forms are still being accepted for great Barbadian women who have made noteworthy contributions in Gender and Development and Women’s Rights and Equality.

Members of the public who wish to make recommendations should collect forms from the Bureau of Gender Affairs, Keith Bourne Complex, Belmont Road, St. Michael. Completed forms should be returned to that location by Friday, February 19, or faxed to 435-4122.

Nominees should be Barbadian nationals, over 18 years of age, and have contributed richly in a particular field of endeavour which has enhanced women’s development.

Two women will be selected and rewarded by the Bureau as part of its International Women’s Day celebrations on March 8.
