Nomination forms are still being accepted for great Barbadian women who have made noteworthy contributions in the field of education.

Members of the public, particularly educational institutions and women’s civil society groups, who wish to make recommendations should collect forms from the Bureau of Gender Affairs, Keith Bourne Complex, Belmont Road, St. Michael. Completed forms should be returned to that location by Friday, February 25.

Nominees should be Barbadian nationals, over 18 years of age, and have contributed richly to education, as well as engaged in other forms of service and voluntary work in their communities across the island.

Two women will be selected and rewarded by the Bureau as part of its International Women’s Day celebrations on March 8.??
