Some of this island’s most talented individuals will come together under one roof for the National Sports Council’s Cheerleading, Drill and Latin Dance Competitions which will be held at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael, this Sunday, December 9, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
The Council is teaming up with the Barbados Cadet Corps to stage the event which promises to be an exciting outing for the whole family. The competition is intended to provide a platform for the development of these unique forms of inter-school competition.
Approximately 15 primary schools, 13 secondary schools, two day nurseries and three tertiary institutions will take part in the event. Tickets are available at the Council and competing schools.
