The Organization of American States (OAS) has available a number of scholarships opportunities for Barbadians.

Short courses are being offered by the Galilee International Management Institute (GIMI) in Israel in Health Systems Management, National Security and Diplomacy, and Crisis and Mass Disaster Management. The deadline for submission of applications is Monday, September 30.

Interested persons who wish to pursue a Diploma in Engineering for Special Water Treatment may apply for a scholarship to do this short course offered by the Fondo Verde institution in Peru. It will be taught online in Spanish from October 2019 to April 2020. 

Applications should be completed online, and a copy should be submitted to the Economic Affairs Division, Ministry of Finance, Economic Affairs and Investment, Warrens Office Complex, St. Michael, by Tuesday, October 1.

Scholarships in Master degree programmes are also being offered by the Soluciones Integrales de Formació​n y Gestión (Structuralia) in Engineering, Energy, and Infrastructure. Courses will run for 12 to 24 months, and will be taught online in Spanish.
