A two-day, Open Day/Exhibition has been planned by the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic???s (SJPP).
The event, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 16, has a packed programme on both days, from 10.30 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.
Visitors to the Wildey institution will get the opportunity to see skirts, blouses and dresses made by first-year garment students??? and there will be a presentation from WorldSkills Esthethic students on ???Dramatic Make-up???.??Second year cosmetology students will also showcase their ???Back in Time??? project.
The programme on both days will also comprise demonstrations and blood pressure checks by Nursing Auxiliary students as well as open kitchens by the catering and home economics students.
Principal of the SJPP, Hector Belle will officially open the event tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Wildey institution.
