In celebration of Senior Citizens Month, the Randall Philips Polyclinic, in Oistins Christ Church, will host an Open Day next Tuesday, September 28.

The special day, which bears the theme: "Seniors Are Beautiful People: Connect, Respect and Protect", will provide an opportunity for the public to view the art and craft of the polyclinic’s elderly clients.

It starts at 9:30 a.m. and there will be a musical rendition by saxophonist, Leo Freeman; poetry reading by elderly patient, Doreen Harewood-Graham, and a discussion and demonstration by beautician, Miriam Headley on "Skin Care for the Elderly".

Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Arthur Philips will deliver opening remarks at the start of the Open Day.?? Senior Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Elizabeth Ferdinand will be in attendance. jgill@barbados.gov.bb
