The National Conservation Commission (NCC) has advised the public that its Operation S.O.S Swim Programme, will now be conducted at Brownes Beach only, and not at Folkstone Beach as was previously advertised.

??This is because the area is no longer conducive to conducting the training. Management of the NCC regrets any inconvenience this has caused.??

The days and times for the sessions, however, remain unchanged. As such, "Operation SOS" will get under way as planned from Monday, July 12 and run until August 26.?? Training will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 and 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at Browne’s Beach in St. Michael.

The NCC is inviting persons 13 years and older to register for the programme. Registration forms are available at the NCC Headquarters, Codrington, St. Michael, Rockley Beach Park, Christ Church; Browne’s Beach Facility, St. Michael and Bathsheba Beach Facility, St. Joseph. Forms can also be sourced online at nccbarbados.gov.bb
