This month, the Office of Public Sector Reform (OPSR) will host a number of workshops specifically targetted at public sector managers.
They will be held on September 22, 23 and 27, at the Almond Bay Conference Centre, Hastings, Christ Church, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. daily.?? The aim of the seminars is to develop strategies for improving workplace morale and team building in public sector agencies.
The workshops are being staged as part of the Employee Assistance Programme of the OPSR and will be facilitated by Network Services Centre Inc. ??The lead facilitator will be Senior Counselling Psychologist, Anderson Kellman.
The sessions will address such issues as the elements that determine workplace morale team building, needs of the employees, emotional intelligence and principles of culture change.?? It will seek to help managers assess their roles and responsibility in making Barbados work better.
Over 90 public sector managers are expected to attend.
