"Are Only Women Abused?" This question will be answered during a panel discussion next Monday, December 7, at Ellerslie Secondary School, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Panellists will include call-in programme moderator, Peter Wickham; member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club, Marlene Hewitt; a police officer and a psychologist.
The St. Michael North West Constituency Council will host the meeting and the public is invited to attend.
This is one of several events planned to commemorate November 25 as International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence.
