Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Santia Bradshaw, will host consultations with parents/guardians on Wednesday, September 16, at the Wildey Gymnasium, Wildey, St. Michael, to discuss protocols for the return to school.

The Ministry has invited schools to select 20 parents from their Parent Teachers Association (PTA) to attend.  There will be two meetings held on Wednesday, due to physical distancing and the need for strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.

The gymnasium has a seating capacity of only 1,500.  To this end, the Ministry has divided schools into two groups.  Parents/guardians representing schools from the parishes of St. Michael and St. George are invited to attend the meeting scheduled for 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.  Parents/guardians representing schools in all other parishes are to attend the meeting scheduled for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Persons are asked to note that the temperatures of all persons entering the gymnasium will be taken, and their hands sanitised.
